Or eat in Vilnius before your visit, though summer festival brings temporary stalls with medieval-style dishes worth trying.

Visit between May and September for the best conditions. Late spring through early fall gives you comfortable weather for walking archaeological sites and climbing hillforts, with excellent light for photography.
